The Problem

Since World War II, more than 80,000 new chemicals have been created and let loose into our world and our bodies. Most go untested until they have caused widespread illness. 

The U.S. has no comprehensive chemical policy. Powerful industries rake in profits without proving their products and practices are safe. The burden of proof falls on the people who get sick from these chemicals. Center for Environmental Health was created ten years ago to correct this imbalance and protect people from dangerous chemicals.
