Seeking to address the longstanding problem of lead in children's toys and other products, members of the U.S. House of Representatives solicited the testimony of Center for Environmental Health (CEH) Executive Director Michael Green and other children's health advocates on September 20th, 2007.

Taking Lead off Childrens' Lunch Menu

In 2005 CEH sued the manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of lead-contaminated children's soft, vinyl lunchboxes. The lawsuit eliminated health threats to children from yet another unnecessary source of lead. See what else we’ve accomplished in our first 10 years.
